Website and custom software · Multifamily real-estate private equity

Three projects for a private-equity firm: website, investor portal and quarterly reporting.

What we built for Fringe Capital Partners.

  1. 01

    Refreshed website

A fast, custom site for the firm and its portfolio, replacing an aging template site. No plugins to maintain, strict security headers, and every page written so investors can find what they need.

    Investment manager portal

One place to run every deal: investor entities, contributions, distributions, operating agreements and K-1s. The team emails a single investor or everyone in a property, every message is kept on record, and investors sign in to see their own positions and documents.

    Automated quarterly reporting

Each quarter's investor report is assembled from the fund's financials and property data, with the narrative drafted for review. A person checks it, then it exports to PDF and Word, ready to send.

The challenge

An aging website, deals tracked in rented software, and reports built by hand.

The firm had outgrown its template website. Investor records and communications lived in rented investment-management software, and every quarter's investor report was assembled by hand from several sources.

What we built

Three tools, one firm.

A secure custom website, a portal the team uses to run every investment and talk to its investors, and a reporting tool that turns the fund's data into each quarter's report.

How it runs today

Supported every quarter.

All three are hosted and maintained by us; each reporting cycle starts from the data, not a blank document.

Next story

A family office: Consolidated reporting across a family office's entities.
